With OMNIplus On, Daimler Buses offers an innovative service that digitally controls speed limits for buses: Zones can be marked directly on a map, and as soon as a bus enters one of these zones, the system automatically activates the appropriate speed limiter. In this way, Daimler Buses helps public transit agencies increase safety and efficiency in local transit.
On behalf of Daimler Buses, V4 – Filmproduktion from Stuttgart – produced an explanatory video that clearly demonstrates how the system works. On-screen graphics and motion graphics illustrate the technology behind OMNIplus On and make a complex software topic understandable for drivers, fleet managers, and decision-makers alike.
Filming took place at several authentic locations in the Stuttgart region: at Rotebühlplatz in Stuttgart, at a Daimler Buses service center, and at a school—supplemented by additional studio footage and drone shots. V4 was responsible for the entire production process: from concept development through pre-production and filming to the final post-production.
